Saint Augustine and Northeast Florida’s premiere practice of cannabis medicine. Under the direction of Robert W. Elkins, M.D., we qualify patients to use medical cannabis under state law.
1. To help you complete your State of Florida registration for medical marijuana so you may obtain your “card” and purchase medical cannabis. (most clinics stop there)
2. To offer continued support with updates on new uses for cannabis and information on the different formulations for current treatments. The industry is changing at a rapid pace. We can help keep you up to date on the ever-changing maze of new products available. This is definitely not a one size fits all industry. This is a rapidly growing market with new choices becoming available every month. At your follow up appointments, we go over your use of cannabis and offer suggestions in your therapy. We continue to see you for state mandated visits to continue your cannabis therapy.
At the Cannabis Certification Clinic we like to avoid some of the hype and wild claims that are starting to become associated with the industry. Cannabis is not a cure all and like many other medications, does not work for everyone. The Medical Cannabis field is in it’s infancy. There are many changes that have already taken place, both legally and medically and many more changes which will occur in the future.A good knowledge base is important to achieve the best results and to avoid some of the misinformation that is out in the general community. We offer this knowledge in our initial classroom discussion and our follow-up meetings.
We take your medical problems seriously and tailor treatment suggestions to your specific needs.
We do not replace your treating physician. All of your care for your illness or condition continues with your family practitioner or specialist.
